
We are taking deposits now for Fall 2025 butcher.
THIS IS ONLY A DEPOSIT. YOU WILL RECIEVE YOUR PORK WHEN PIG IS BUTCHERED AND INVOICE IS PAID IN FULL.
Our pigs are raised and rotated on pasture during the summer while feeding a no soy, transitional organic feed. Our pork will be full of Vitamin D since the pigs are grown outside!
HOW IT WORKS:
We take pre-orders for our custom halves and wholes starting in the spring each year for processing later in the fall/winter of that year. We have a limited number of pigs available each year, so pre-ordering is the best way to reserve your order.
- We charge $5.75 per pound, based on the hanging weight plus processing costs. (2025 pricing)
- A whole pig averages 180-200 pounds hanging weight ($1,035-1,150) That will be about 130-150 pounds of take home cuts.
- Processing is usually around $1.20 - 1.45 per hanging weight pound, depending on your processing. ($240 - 290 per whole pig)
To reserve your whole or half, we take a deposit of $150 per half now. In August we will take another deposit of $150 per half. This helps spread out the cost for you and helps us buy more feed for the pigs. The remainder of your invoice will be due when the pig is processed.
NEW THIS YEAR:
This year's referral program will be $25 off your custom pork total and $0.25 off per pound on hanging weight for the referred friend (new customer within the last 4 years, limit 3 referrals). So instead of paying $5.75 per pound, it will be $5.50 for your friend! Just make a note of who referred you when you make the deposit.
