Frequently Asked Questions

How do I order?

Use our online store to set up your account, pick a convenient location to pick up your order and checkout. You will receive an order confirmation through email. The day before delivery you will receive an email with a reminder for where and when to meet your farmer to pick up your order.

Are you an Organic Certified farm?

No, but we do follow organic standards and feed transitional organic feeds along with forages from our farm that are free of GMO's, pesticides and herbicides.

Can I come visit the farm?

Yes! Contact us to set up a time that works for both of us. We love showing people around the farm and sharing our passion for regenerative farming.

What about being pasture-raised in the winter in Minnesota?

We raise our broiler chickens and pigs during the growing season and fill up our freezer to supply our customers in the winter.

We keep our laying hens all winter long because their lay cycle is 12 months at a time. We bring them inside our winter building with deep bedding that composts the manure and wood chips, providing some warmth. They have access to the outside when the temperatures are above zero. And we supplement them with dried forages, like hay, all winter.

Can I pay you with PayPal or Venmo?

No. We do not currently have accounts set up for the farm. We encourage our customers to pay with cash or check when they pick up their orders, so we avoid needing to upcharge our products to account for credit card fees. But we do have the option to take credit card payments through our online store.

How to change your pick-up location without knowing the closest zip code?

From our main home page, Go to the "How It Works" page. Go to the bottom of the page, all the pick-up locations are listed under each route. Click on the location you want to choose. Pick shop for this location.
